Bill Day CPYB
Bill joined Crusader Yacht Sales in 2008, while already enjoying a successful yacht brokerage career. He built an excellent reputation as one of the primary sailboat brokers on the Chesapeake Bay, and is widely known in the brokerage community. His niche is in selling cruising sailboats, and has extensive knowledge about Downeast-style powerboats. Bill prides himself on his reputation amongst his clients as being honest, hard working, and as a broker selling with integrity. When you work with Bill, you will see that one of his many strengths is in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with his clients. Bill is a Philadelphia-area native, and grew up sailing and power boating on the Chesapeake Bay’s Eastern Shore. He loves to cruise the Bay and offshore, when the opportunity arises. When asked where some of his favorite cruising grounds are he emphatically describes his recent trip to Newport and Cuttyhunk, but says you have not lived until you’ve sailed into a quiet cove on the Chesapeake, in October. Bill’s previous career was as a District Judge in Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, in Providence, RI and attended Widener University School of Law. While living in the Philadelphia area, he was an active member of the Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia. Bill is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB), being one of less than 500 CPYB’s in the yacht sales industry. He is also a member of the Yacht Broker’s Association of America (YBAA), and subscribes to the organizations strict ethical rules.
