The original model in the collaboration between Bill Crealock and Pacific Seacraft, the 37 was introduced in 1980. The Crealock 37' subsequently was inducted into the Sailing Hall of Fame in 1992. She's been the benchmark for world cruisers for 36 years and rightfully so. This voyager shocks even the most experienced sailors in lighter air. While everyone expects a passage maker to perform well in 30 knots of breeze, most are genuinely surprised to see this lively lady tack gracefully in 2-3 knots of true wind.

When you step aboard a Pacific Seacraft, it is obvious why they have the excellent reputation that they do. There are substantial bulwarks with a heavy teak cap rail. The teak joints are hand fitted with butterfly joints. The 30" high, double lifeline stanchions are mounted on the bulwarks to resist moisture intrusion into the deck. The deck hardware is all larger than found on most vessels and is all chrome plated solid bronze- nothing but the best. The list goes on and on, reinforcing with every item the quality, strength and safety crafted into every boat.

Ferenc Mate devoted an entire chapter in his book 'The Worlds' Best Sailboats', to Pacific Seacraft and stated ‘All the Crealock creations are aesthetically sophisticated, ideally proportioned and some of the best handling, most sea kindly boats in the world’.

Our offering is hull number 271 of these fine boats. As a 1994 model year she features a Vinylester hull for blister protection and chromed bronze hardware versus bronze. The laminate interior house sides eliminate water staining and provide a much brighter interior than her predecessors.

“Highlight” has been lovingly maintained by her owners and they part with her sadly, as she has fared them well and protected them over the years. They are now moving on to other adventures in life. Highlight’s condition is certainly above average and reflects the care she has been shown. If you are looking for a clean example of these fine boats she is certainly worthy of your personal inspection. Call and schedule an appointment to see her today!
