1980 Mainship 34 Trawler

This Trawler is designed for:

Reasonable Performance

Good Economy

Low Maintenance

Cruising Couple Comfortable

To begin your cruising adventures in a "Carpe Diem" style, the Mainship Trawler 34 allows for the old saying "Go Slow, Go Far.........But Go!"  which is a Trawler owner's mantra.

The Mainship 34 Trawler was designed by Bruce Denton just for that kind of adventurous cruising.  Put away your credit cards when heading out on an adventure.  This midsized trawler is capable of doing just about any adventure most owners might dream about both economically and safely.

Admittedly the 34 Trawler is not a hotel or condominium but in reality especially in the boating world - Less becomes More.  Without the maintenance and repair demands of endless boat systems which keep you tied up to the dock or sitting on stands in the boat yard, you can spend more quality time out on the water following your dreams of exploration.

With her single Perkins Turbo Diesel engine she has a range of over 600+ miles at around 8 knots (A little more than 9 mph).  The Perkins, being one of the most reliable engines yet built sips only about 2 - 2.5 gallons per hour.  Talk about economy, this is it!
