1982 Cape Cod Mercer

Annapolis, Maryland

$49,000

** $24,000 PRICE REDUCTION!! **

With her exquisite sheer and classic lines in general, the Mercer 44 is considered by many to be the most beautiful among all of Bill Tripp's famous designs.  As the last Mercer built, and with her long history of diligent maintenance and upgrading, MARIAH is a rarity - and surely ranks among the most desirable classic yachts to be offered in this price range.

MARIAH is for sale due to the declining health of the elderly owner.  During his many years of ownership, MARIAH was well maintained by a top-notch boatyard on the southern Chesapeake.  The price has recently reduced been in the desire for a quick sale - and in acknowledgement of the current state of some "deferred maintenance."  The next owner should expect to address the following known issues:

  • Tabbing repairs to some interior bulkheads
  • Ancillary engine repairs and full recommissioning
  • Battery replacement
  • Deck leaks to the interior (MARIAH has been under shrinkwrap for over a year)
  • Other "normal survey issues" - plus deferred recommissioning and maintenance

In short, MARIAH deserves to go to good home - with an appreciative owner who will return her to her "prior glory!"
