The Sou’wester 42 is a timeless yacht of the highest quality. Designed by McCurdy and Rhodes with the philosophy that is "a sailing yacht has no reason for existence if it cannot make an efficient job of translating the power of the wind into the most thoroughly enjoyable way of moving a boat across the water." In  the Sou'wester 42  this means a good seakindly motion and good balance, but it also means good speed.

"UNA" is hull number 21 of the SW 42's. She has the preferred dinette layout and the preferred mahogany interior woodwork.
