2022 Tartan 395

Tartan created the 395 to improve upon the wildly successful Tartan 3700. Having built 170+ Tartan 3700 over 20 years, it was time for modernization of the galley, deck and forward cabins. The 395 is the culmination of 60 years of boatbuilding experience and 4000 Tartans built to date.   Tim Jackett did a masterful job creating Tartan latest new model and she has been awarded with Boat of the Year awards and accolades by 395 owners and admirers. 

The forward cabin has an island bunk with port & starboard storage bureaus, drawers under bunk and a creative shoe locker / step up to the bunk, h aft cabin is equally suited with a. queen bunk for owners or guests.   This is truly a TWO cabin layout where thw owners can choose forward or aft, depending on their preference.   The head is aft to port and has a wonderful stall shower. Forward facing nav station / work surface and of course a U shaped settee that converts into a cozy double bunk or "crawl into" couch.   The galley full sized with ample storage. two frig drawers and optional freezer compartment are highlights.   This 395 has a custom install at the stove area addition additional locker storage and hirable stove cover.  

This layout has shown to be very popular and has been very well received, by owners and critics!    The on deck configuration is new for Tartan... She has a twin wheel cockpit layout with large sail locker, pulpit seats and features primary winches at teh helm with Main & Job Sheets at your fingertips. As always, sailing a Tartan is pleasure and the 395 embodies ALL of those 60 years experience into a package that is manageable by a couple and large enough to entertain as well. As the saying goes... Cocktails for 6, dinner for 4 and sleeping for 2!
