SweetWine is a 1983 49' DeFever raised pilothouse trawler. She offers twin Ford Lehman 120 HP main engines, Onan 7.5 kW generator, Victron Energy 3,000-watt inverter, Reverso fuel polishing system, 2011 Twin-Disc transmissions, 2013 aluminum fuel tanks, new Balmar 100-amp alternators, a raised pilothouse design with internal stairs from the pilothouse to the flybridge and a two-stateroom layout with the master stateroom amidships. SweetWine has been in fresh water and winter stored in a shed for the past 20 years. She is Great Loop capable.
From the teak swim platform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck via the transom gate. Once on the aftdeck, you can walk out either side deck, step up the stainless steel & teak ladder to the flybridge or step into the salon via the double teak & glass doors. Once inside the salon, you will find 2 wicker chairs and an entertainment cabinet to starboard, sofa to port and a counter top port forward. The galley is port forward, engine room access forward and the refrigerator/freezer, pantry and side deck access door are starboard forward. Step up the starboard forward stairs to the raised pilothouse and you find a benchseat and table starboard aft, side deck access door on each side, stairs to the flybridge starboard aft, helm forward and guest companionway starboard forward. Step down the companionway and you will find the full-beam master stateroom amidships, guest head to port and guest stateroom forward.
The headroom in the salon is 6'5", 6'8" on the flybridge, 6'4" on the aftdeck, 6'7" in the pilothouse, 6'8" in the guest stateroom, 6'9" in the guest head, 6'3" in the master stateroom and 6'8" in the master stateroom tub/shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long and the guest stateroom berths are 6'10" long.
The height from the waterline to the mast anchor light is 21', 16'5" to the top of the bimini and 14'2" to the top of the flybridge windscreen. The mast is hinged, but the hinge is not at the base, so it lowers to 18'3". The mast is unbolted at the base to reach the lower heights.
SweetWine offers a full-beam master stateroom with a centerline queen size berth and an ensuite head with a 1/2 tub/shower amidships; and a guest stateroom forward with upper and lower single size berths. The guest head is to port and between the staterooms. There is also a single size berth above and aft of the pilothouse seating.
The salon offers a sofa, 2 folding teak tables and 2 ottomans/coffee tables to port, 2 wicker chairs and entertainment cabinet to starboard, countertop port forward, carpet, aft windows with blinds, opening side windows with blinds, double teak & glass doors aft, Phantom screen door aft (2007), reading lights and book shelves.
The galley is forward in the salon.
Dining space is available at the salon counter and the pilothouse table.
The full-beam master stateroom is amidships and offers a centerline queen size berth, nightstands, reading lights, teak parquet sole, 4 hanging lockers, 2 portlights with shades, vanity/desk with a stool and an ensuite head with an enclosed 1/2 tub/shower.
the guest stateroom is forward and offers upper and lower single size berths, teak parquet sole, hanging locker, storage cabinets and drawers, 4 portlights, overhead hatch, fan, reading lights and anchor chain locker access. The guest head is to port and aft of this stateroom.
The raised pilothouse offers a helm forward, storage under the helm, electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation, side deck access door on each side with a Phantom screen (2007), L-shaped seating with storage and a double pedestal table port aft, storage drawers and cabinets, single size berth aft of and above the benchseat, stairs to the flybridge starboard aft, stairs to the staterooms starboard forward, storage cabinet to starboard and a Garelick Eez-In helmseat.
The flybridge offers a bimini, non-skid deck, helm forward, storage under the helm, Garelick Eez-In helmseat, benchseat with storage on each side, stainless steel rails, hatch and stairs to the pilothouse and aftdeck, and a boat deck aft with tender storage, tender davit and non-skid deck.
The aftdeck offers a hardtop, teak deck, transom gate, lazarette access, double teak & glass doors to the salon, side deck access on each side, stainless steel & teak ladder to the flybridge, benchseat with storage on each side, folding chair and 2 wicker tables.
