The Wauquiez Centurion 47 is a sailboat designed by Ed Dubois and produced by the French shipyard Wauquiez:
History
Only 48 Centurion 47s were produced between 1984 and 1990. The Centurion 47 was designed for safe and agile navigation in open seas, and features a combination of luxury comfort and excellent performance.
Design
The Centurion 47 has a three-cabin layout with two double beds and one twin bed, as well as two bathrooms.It also features a teak deck, swim platform, swim ladder, watermaker, generator, electric winch, internal/external GPS, Raymarine electronics, Hi-Fi system with external speakers, and TV in the dinette.
Shipyard
The Wauquiez shipyard was founded by Henri Wauquiez, who discovered his passion for sailing at a young age.He used part of his family's tannery to build boats, and the first Centurion was the result of a collaboration with architect Kim Holman.
