Meet the best-equipped Excess 15 catamaran in the world! This 3-cabin owner's version is fully loaded with factory and aftermarket upgrades, including Starlink, watermaker, bow thruster, solar, generator, dive compressor, and more.
Wine Down is clean, turn-key, and ready to cruise immediately. With a long list of factory upgrades and aftermarket additions, this Excess 15 stands out among cruising catamarans on the market today. Highlights include a 13.5kW Onan generator, 64,000 BTU Cruisair air conditioning, watermaker, bow thruster, Raymarine electronics suite with radar and AIS, solar panels, Starlink satellite internet, and a Highfield tender with Yamaha 20HP engine. As with every Excess, she is a joy to sail, even more so than many sister ships, thanks to her upgraded Pulse Line performance package with square-top mainsail, Code 0, self-tacking jib, and all brand-new North Sails still in the packaging.
The yacht is already duty paid and imported into the U.S., eliminating the hassle and expense of foreign clearance. A massive list of additional cruising gear is included, such as safety equipment (EPIRB, liferaft, MOB module), spare parts, tools, fishing gear, full galley setup, and even a dive compressor and tank rack.
Professionally maintained and recently serviced, she received fresh bottom paint, saildrive service, new rigging and running lines, and more in 2025. From her clean interior and expansive cockpit to her advanced sail handling systems and full cruising inventory, this Excess 15 is ready to head off on your next adventure — no waiting, no outfitting required.

manufacturer's description
excess 15
welcome on board!
The Excess 15 is the largest in the range of Excess Catamarans.
In addition to her large spaces, this boat has twin helm stations, located at the after end of each hull, which are designed to increase the pleasure of sailing.
As for the interior, there’s a huge raised saloon/dining area with a 360° view of the sea through non-smoked bay windows. The catamaran's 8-meter (26’3”) beam offers a cockpit large enough to accommodate a beautiful table, around which eight people can easily sit.
Her unique, balanced and seductive lines embody the spirit of Excess while combining this with the comfort of a large cruising catamaran.
a modern atmosphere
The Excess 15 has been designed to offer you a lively atmosphere on board your boat. An interior energized by brilliant light, a perfect design of simplicity, interior woodwork in Cedar & White Touch.
inspired by racing, built for cruising
Thanks to her sporty rig offering a super advantageous aspect ratio and the optional Pulse line rig - which offers more than 10% of sail area/displacement ratio - the promise of thrills is guaranteed. Maneuvering is simplified with titanium-style aluminum stanchions and cleats, and Dyneema steering cables to improve responsiveness and sensitivity of the helm feel. This catamaran even adopts the aesthetics of racing boats, with fluorescent fiber guardwires with the Excess signature!
twin aft helm station
From one helm station to the other, the Excess 15 offers an ideal view of the sails, the sea and the bows. This double helm is also a guarantee of both feel and efficiency. The control is direct, you are connected to the boat and sail trimming is right there, at your fingertips.
breathtaking design
The Excess 15 has an assertive and qualitative personality that breaks with the codes of traditional sailboats. Her design embodies this new philosophy, both modern and sporty. The Excess 15 is a boat with character, accomplished, balanced and distinguished: refined lines, elegant proportions, perfect balance.
The Excess 15 has been designed by VPLP design, one of the most renowned naval architecture companies in the world. The exterior design is by Patrick le Quément. And Nauta Design has made sure that the interior design meets your expectations.
opening to the stars
The Excess 15 gives you the unique opportunity to transform your cockpit to suit your desires. Open or closed, activate the sunroof as you wish, to enjoy more privacy or alternatively get a clear view of the sails, the starry night sky or just enjoy a light breeze in the evening at anchor.
