MANUFACTURER'S COMMENTS

The Pacific Seacraft 37 is a superb high-performance cruising yacht that incorporates all the qualities an experienced sailor looks for in "a proper yacht," such as seaworthiness, premium quality, exceptional performance, comfort and beauty. She has a modern split keel and skeg rudder underbody. She's sleek, beautiful, and a brilliant performer in all conditions, as was proven by her remarkable and repeated performance in the recent Singlehanded Transpacific Yacht Race. She'll accommodate six and has features specifically designed for extended ocean voyages. The speed of the Pacific Seacraft 37 is already legendary, but performance in a cruising boat requires much more. A cruising boat must have a comfortable motion at sea and be well-balanced under sail so the crew does not have to fight the boat every yard of the way. The Crealock 37 was carefully designed for an easy motion. When you are shorthanded and you grow weary of those long night watches, a balanced boat can make a world of difference. In addition to her beauty, comfort, and sailing ability, the Pacific Seacraft 37 offers engineering and construction that is unsurpassed. Her fiberglass hull and deck are built to the most rigorous specifications, 100 per cent hand laid-up and squeegeed to remove all excess resin for optimum strength-to-weight ratio. Deck strength and insulation are increased with high-compressive-strength plywood core construction. Cored hull construction is available. Throughout the cabin, a soft white matte finish provides just the right counterpoint for the abundant hand-rubbed teak joinery. Sunlight and fresh air pour in from ten polished bronze opening ports and two large deck hatches.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Starting forward, in the forward cabin, there is a custom shelf forward and to the sides, with double-door chain locker access above that at the foot of the 6'6" x 50" offset double berth. Beneath the berth are three drawers and three large storage bin spaces. A dressing seat, vanity, and mirror provide a convenient place to put on your flip-flops (or heels!). The berth has double mattress with air vent spacer below. Storage includes two large cedar-lined louvered lockers: one hanging and one with shelving.  There is more louvered cabinet storage along the port hull side and storage behind and beneath the seat. Lighting and ventilation are in abundance, with an overhead hatch, solar hatch vent fan, a Hella fan, a Caframo Sirocco II silent fan, three opening ports, one overhead light, USB and AC power outlets, and two reading lights. Lots of boats have dark forward staterooms, but this certainly isn't one of them!

Moving into the head, which is located next aft to starboard, there is a find a fiddled counter with a stainless steel sink, a Grohe pull-out shower hot/cold mixer, pressure water, and a freshwater foot pump. There is louvered door storage behind the sink and head and also below the sink. A drop-down teak seat is over the composting head. There are several teak grab rails for safety, a large dressing mirror, and a teak shower grate with a sump. Ventilation and lighting come from a dorade vent, one opening port, and an overhead light.

Next aft is the saloon. To port is a 6'4" long settee with lee cloth and storage below and behind, and a teak-planked magazine rack and storage bins with two stainless reading lights above.  Across on starboard is an L-shaped dinette with a double drop-leaf teak table. The table has three center storage spaces. Port settee with lee cloth can convert to a comfortable 6'4" x 50" wide double berth. There is storage below and behind the seating; above that is a teak-planked bookshelf with teak lockers on either end. Two more stainless reading lights are located on this side of the cabin. There are two Hella fans, one hatch with solar vent fan, one dorade vent, and six opening ports in the saloon and galley areas.

In the U-shaped galley, aft of the dinette, there are two deep stainless-steel sinks, with hot and cold pressure water as well as salt and freshwater foot pumps, Jabsco macerator, and storage below. Above the sink are two louvered teak cabinets. Outboard is a cutting board, which cleverly conceals a large storage bin. The gimballed Force 10 stove, with storage behind and below, has an oven as well as a broiler.  Aft of that is a large 8 cubic ft refrigerator/freezer temperature controlled by keel cooled Frigoboat remote thermostat, with hinged lid access and teak louvered storage lockers above. Food and dish storage lockers, drawers, and cabinets with louvered doors are above and all sides of galley.

Across from the galley on the port side is the nav station. The chart table is a comfortable size and there is convenient access to the drop-down electrical panel. A wet locker is located beneath the table and there is storage under the seat. There is a tube chart storage locker above the quarter berth for rolled charts. The quarter berth behind that boasts a spacious 7' x 42" wide sleeping area.
